When we replace your engine, we work with you to decide whether to exchange your worn engine with a used engine or a rebuilt engine. Rebuilt engines are engines that have all the replaceable parts exchanged for new components and have the block machined, so all wear is smoothed. Rebuilt engines are engines that have been returned to the manufacturer’s specs for “new” engines, so they’re a great choice.
Many customers decide on a remanufactured engine because of the generous warranty. The remanufactured engines we use at Atlanta Engine Installations come with as much as a three-year, unlimited-mile warranty. Our used engines have been road tested and come with a six-month, 6,000 mile warranty.
